Welcome Lighting When the Door Opens

Automatic Activation
The projector operates through the compatible original door-light circuit and illuminates when the door is opened.

Ground Projection
The lens projects the selected graphic onto the surface beside the vehicle, adding a distinctive welcome-light effect at night.

⚠️ Important Model S / Model X Rear-Door Compatibility

The supplier selector specifically states that the rear-door lights are not compatible with 2021+ Model S / Model X rear doors. Do not order the 4-piece configuration for those rear-door positions without first confirming the factory light and connector.

Vehicle Compatibility

Electrical Specifications

6000K LED Source vs. Projection Color

The supplier specifies a 6000K white LED light source. The visible projected artwork can still include white, red, blue or multi-color elements depending on the selected projection style.

Designed for Door-Jamb Conditions

The supplier describes the light housing as suitable for routine exposure to rain and changing outdoor temperatures.

Fixed Projection Angle

The projection angle is fixed and is not manually adjustable. The final image orientation can vary slightly with the angle and geometry of the vehicle door.

Plug-In Installation

1. Open the Door
Locate the original factory courtesy / puddle light at the lower door area.

2. Remove the Factory Light Carefully
Use a suitable trim tool to release the original lamp without damaging the surrounding door trim.

3. Disconnect the Factory Connector
Unplug the original light from the vehicle wiring connector.

4. Connect the LED Projector
Attach the new puddle light to the compatible factory connector.

5. Test Before Fully Seating
Open the door and confirm that the projector illuminates correctly before pressing the housing fully into place.

6. Snap the Light Into Position
Once operation is confirmed, carefully seat the projector into the original light opening.

⚠️ Some Installations May Require Additional Cable Reach

Tesery notes that if the original vehicle connector cable is too short to comfortably reach the new lamp, an appropriate extension lead or pigtail may be required. Do not pull or place excessive tension on the factory wiring.

No Drilling or Separate Wiring Circuit

For compatible factory door-light positions, the projector replaces the original lamp and uses the existing electrical connection. No body drilling or separate power wiring is required.

⚠️ Test Door Operation After Installation

After installing each light, confirm that the lamp sits fully inside the factory opening and does not interfere with the door seal, door trim or normal closing operation. Do not force an incompatible housing into the door.
