Check CCS Support Before Using DC Fast Charging

1. Open Controls

On the Tesla center screen, open the vehicle Controls menu.

2. Select Software

Scroll to Software and open Additional Vehicle Information.

3. Check CCS Support

Look for CCS / 3rd-party NACS DC Fast Charging Support and confirm that the vehicle shows Enabled.

4. Connect the Station Plug

Insert the appropriate J1772 or CCS1 charging connector completely into the adapter before connecting the assembly to the vehicle.

5. Connect to the Tesla

Insert the Tesla side of the adapter fully into the vehicle charge port and wait for the vehicle to secure the connection.

6. Confirm Charging

“Not Enabled” May Require a Tesla CCS Retrofit
