1. Verify the Rear Body Style
Confirm your vehicle uses the original Model Y liftgate shown in the installation photos. Do not assume Juniper compatibility.
2. Remove Any Existing Spoiler
The mounting surface should be clear of another spoiler, adhesive residue, wax or loose contamination before installation.
3. Dry-Fit Before Removing Tape
Place the spoiler on the liftgate first and confirm equal left/right spacing and full contact across the mounting surface.
4. Clean & Prepare the Surface
Remove oil, wax and dirt and allow the painted liftgate surface to dry completely before exposing the adhesive.
5. Warm the Adhesive if Needed
In cooler conditions, lightly warming the VHB tape can improve initial adhesion. Do not overheat the tape or painted surface.
6. Align, Press & Cure
Apply the spoiler carefully, press firmly across the complete bonded area for at least 30 seconds and keep the installation dry for approximately 48 hours.

The current product is specifically molded for Model Y 2020–2024. Model Y Juniper uses a different rear design and requires a dedicated spoiler mold.
