1. Confirm the Exact Model Y Version

Legacy Model Y and Model Y Juniper have different front bumper shapes. Select the exact version that matches your vehicle.

2. Clean the Bumper Surface

Remove dirt, oil, wax and water from the fog-light surround. The surface must be clean and completely dry before adhesion.

3. Test-Fit Before Peeling the Tape

Hold both carbon pieces in position and confirm alignment with the bumper contour before exposing the adhesive.

4. Warm the Tape if Needed

In cool conditions, lightly warm the automotive adhesive before installation. Current manufacturer guidance states not to heat it above approximately 40°C.

5. Align & Press Firmly

Remove the adhesive liner, carefully position the trim and apply even pressure for at least 20–30 seconds.

6. Allow the Adhesive to Cure

Avoid washing, heavy rain or disturbing the trim during the initial bond period. Current guidance recommends keeping the installation dry for approximately 48 hours.

Model 3 Is No Longer Part of the Current Product

The URL still contains “Model 3/Y,” but the current Tesery and TESGOD product configurations are for Model Y only. Do not order this trim for Model 3 based on the old URL slug.
