1. Clean the Tailgate
Thoroughly remove dust, wax, grease and detailing residue from the mounting surface using the supplied cleaning wipe.
2. Test-Fit Before Peeling
Position the spoiler on the closed tailgate first and confirm equal left/right alignment before exposing the adhesive.
3. Use Adhesion Promoter
Apply the supplied adhesion promoter to the intended bonding area according to the included instructions.
4. Remove the VHB Backing
Peel the protective film from the pre-applied tape only after the final placement has been confirmed.
5. Align and Press Firmly
Lower the spoiler into position carefully and apply consistent pressure along the full adhesive contact area.
6. Allow the Bond to Cure
Avoid washing the vehicle, high-pressure water or unnecessary disturbance immediately after installation so the adhesive can develop a strong bond.
Typical DIY Installation
Current manufacturer guidance estimates approximately 15–20 minutes for installation after the mounting surface has been prepared and the spoiler has been test-fitted.
