Mounting Automotive-Grade 3M Adhesive

1. Test-Fit the Complete Spoiler

Position the spoiler against the rear roof / window area before removing any adhesive backing and confirm that both side bases and the center section align correctly.

2. Clean the Bonding Surfaces

Remove dirt, wax, oil, detailing residue and moisture from every adhesive contact area, then allow the surfaces to dry fully.

3. Apply Adhesion Promoter

Use the supplied adhesion-preparation material on the designated bonding area according to the installation instructions.

4. Align Before Full Contact

Carefully position the spoiler so the center brake-light opening and left/right spacing remain symmetrical before allowing the full adhesive surface to bond.

5. Press Firmly Across All Bonding Areas

Apply steady hand pressure to the side bases and center mounting areas so the 3M adhesive achieves full surface contact.

6. Allow the Bond to Set

Avoid washing the vehicle, pulling on the spoiler or exposing the fresh bond to unnecessary load immediately after installation.

The current installation method uses automotive-grade 3M adhesive and does not require drilling holes, cutting trim or permanently modifying the roof structure.

Surface Preparation Determines Bond Strength
