1. Verify the Steering Wheel Shape
Compare your original steering wheel with the product images before installation, especially around the upper and lower rim transitions.
2. Clean the Original Surface
Remove dust, skin oils, detailing products and residue from every area that will contact the adhesive.
3. Test-Fit Before Peeling
Place each carbon shell over the intended rim section without removing the adhesive liner and confirm the edges sit evenly.
4. Remove the Adhesive Liner
Peel the protective backing only after the correct orientation and alignment have been confirmed.
5. Align Carefully
Position the cover evenly over the original steering wheel surface without forcing or bending the carbon shell.
6. Press Along the Entire Cover
Apply firm, even pressure along all adhesive areas to establish secure contact before normal use.
Airbag & Steering Controls Remain Uncovered
These rim overlays are positioned away from the center airbag module and steering-wheel button areas when the correct vehicle-specific covers are installed.
Heated Steering Wheel Performance Is Not Published
