2. Clean the Surface

Remove dust, oil, silicone dressing and other residue from the original plastic housing and allow it to dry completely.

3. Test the Alignment

Hold the carbon cover against the buckle housing first and check the upper, lower and side edges for even alignment.

4. Remove the 3M Backing

Peel away the protective film from the supplied double-sided adhesive once final positioning is confirmed.

5. Align & Press Firmly

Position the carbon-fiber trim carefully and apply firm, even pressure across the full adhesive surface.

6. Check Seat Belt Operation

Confirm the belt moves freely and the metal latch tongue can still insert, lock and release normally before driving.

Do Not Cover the Functional Metal Tongue

Install the trim only on the intended plastic housing surface. It must not cover the metal latch tongue, interfere with the seat belt webbing or prevent the belt from locking and releasing normally.
