1. Confirm Vehicle Generation
Door-sill shapes differ between legacy Model 3/Y and refreshed Highland / Juniper vehicles. Select the exact version matching your Tesla.
2. Clean the Original Sill
Remove dust, wax, grease and detailing residue from the installation area and allow the surface to dry completely.
3. Test-Fit Before Peeling
Place each carbon piece over its intended sill position and verify orientation, edge alignment and latch clearance before exposing the adhesive.
4. Apply Adhesion Promoter
Use the supplied adhesion promoter on the intended bonding area according to the included instructions and allow it to become ready for application.
5. Peel, Align & Press
Remove the adhesive liner gradually, align the carbon overlay carefully and press firmly across the entire piece to establish even contact.
6. Check Door Clearance
Open and close the corresponding door carefully after installation and confirm the overlay does not contact the door seal or surrounding trim.
Install Above 15°C / 59°F When Possible
The current manufacturer recommends installing at temperatures above 15°C / 59°F. In colder conditions, gently warming the adhesive and sill area can help improve initial bonding. Avoid overheating painted or plastic surfaces.
No Drilling or Factory Trim Replacement
These are overlay pieces. The original Tesla sill remains in place underneath and no screws, drilling or vehicle wiring modification is required.

It is listed as genuine dry carbon fiber. It is not the ABS carbon-fiber-texture type used on some lower-cost decorative accessories.
Which finishes are available? +
Current options are Glossy, Matte and Glossy Forged.
Does it fit Model 3 Highland? +
Yes. Select the dedicated Model 3 Highland 2024+ version.
Does it fit Model Y Juniper? +
Yes. The current manufacturer source lists Model Y Juniper 2025+, while TESGOD currently groups the refreshed Model Y under its New Model Y 2025+ option.
Does it fit Model YL? +
The current manufacturer source lists Model YL 2026+, but TESGOD has not yet added a dedicated Model YL selector. Confirm the exact sill geometry before ordering for Model YL.
Are there 2-piece and 4-piece sets? +
The latest manufacturer source offers 2 Pcs for the front doors and 4 Pcs for front and rear doors. The current TESGOD selector does not yet display a separate quantity option, so the active TESGOD SKU should be checked for the exact package quantity.
Does installation require removing the original sill trim? +
No. These are overlays that install directly over the corresponding original sill surface.
Is drilling required? +
No. The carbon pieces use automotive adhesive and do not require drilling or screws.
What adhesive is used? +
The current manufacturer specifies pre-applied 3M automotive adhesive.
Can it be installed in cold weather? +
