Overlay — Not a Replacement Mirror Shell
The original Tesla mirror cap remains installed underneath. The carbon component fits over the factory shell and bonds to its exterior surface. Do not remove the mirror glass or original housing for normal installation.

Pre-Applied 3M Adhesive
1. Confirm the Mirror Shape
Compare your original mirror shell with the selected vehicle mold before removing any adhesive liner.
2. Clean the Factory Mirror Cap
Remove wax, silicone, oil, dust and moisture with a paint-safe cleaner and allow the surface to dry completely.
3. Dry-Fit Left & Right
With the adhesive liner still in place, position both caps and confirm the entire perimeter sits naturally without rocking, forcing or large uneven gaps.
4. Test Mirror Folding Clearance
Carefully check the full folding path and confirm the extended cap does not contact the mirror glass, trim, camera area or vehicle body.
5. Align & Bond
Align the long sporty outer edge first, progressively remove the adhesive liner and lower the cap into place without creating tension.
6. Press & Recheck
Apply even pressure around the full perimeter, allow the adhesive bond to develop and recheck several complete mirror-folding cycles while parked.
Do Not Force an Incorrect Mirror Mold
If the cap rocks, requires pressure to stay seated or leaves an abnormal perimeter gap during the dry fit, stop installation. Extra adhesive should not be used to compensate for the wrong mold.
Juniper / Model YL Are Not Yet in the Current TESGOD Selector
The latest manufacturer source now offers a dedicated Model Y Juniper 2025+ / Model YL 2026+ mold, but the current TESGOD product selector does not yet list that version. Do not order the existing Model Y 2020–2024 option for a Juniper or Model YL unless compatibility is separately confirmed.
