Installation Molded Locating Structure — No Adhesive

1. Confirm the Armrest Shape

Compare the top surface, side profile and front release opening of your original armrest with the product images before installation.

2. Clean the Original Lid

Remove dust and loose debris and allow the armrest to dry completely so nothing is trapped underneath the molded shell.

3. Align the Release Opening

Position the cover in the correct orientation and align its front opening with the original armrest release area.

4. Seat the Locating Structure

Press progressively around the shell so the molded locating points seat evenly around the original padded lid.

5. Check the Perimeter

Verify that the cover sits evenly without rocking, lifting or excessive gaps around the side profile.

6. Test Armrest Operation

Open and close the storage lid gently to confirm the release, latch and hinge movement remain unobstructed.

No 3M Tape, Glue or Drilling Required

The current product design uses its molded internal locating structure for retention. Double-sided adhesive is not required or included with the latest documented version.

Not for Highland or Juniper

This shell follows the original pre-refresh center-armrest shape. Model 3 Highland 2024+ and Model Y Juniper / refreshed Model Y use a different center-console design and require a different armrest cover.
